How savvy are you about going online?

Do your children know more about going online than you?  Learn more about keeping them safe and happy ... Safer Internet Day (SID) is on 7th February and to celebrate, CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) are releasing `The Parents and Carers Guide to the Internet`, an entertaining and lighthearted look at what it takes to be a savvy online parent.  Click here to watch `Keeping up with the Joneses`.  CEOP have also launched brand new content for the Parents area of the ThinkUKnow.co.uk/parents  Check it out here ...

 

From the Bean to the Bar - Creative Partnerships

Last term Ryan and Debbie from Creative Partnerships worked with Year 2 on a project called `From the Bean to the Bar`.  It was all about one of our most favourite things ... CHOCOLATE!  Watch the video to see what we did and what we learned ...!


Support for Dealing with Sensitive Issues

The Children`s Society has created a new web-based resource to support parents and carers and their children discuss sensitive issues and explore feelings in a positive and constructive way.  Click here to access these materials.


Vikings Visit St Dominic`s

The Vikings visited St Dominic`s!  They showed Years 3 and 4 how they used to live a long time ago.  They taught us about different Gods and Godesses ... Some of them were a bit scary!  We learned about how they planned their battles ...!  See our slideshow below ...

 

Harvest Festival 2011

We held our annual Harvest Festival in October.  See us performing for our families ...

 Holy Trinity - Our New School!

To see a 3D animated flythrough of our new school click here.  Holy Trinity is replacing St Michael`s Catholic and Church of England High School, St Dominc`s Catholic Primary School and Holy Cross Church of England Primary School.  The new school is scheduled to open in September 2012.
